I am sure someone already made and wrote down this fruit combination long before me but I have actually came up with it on my own! 😀 Originally, I made it without the blue spirulina and it is no doubt the best fruit smoothie ever.

I sometimes (always) sprinkle the smoothie bowl with some (a lot of) granola. Otherwise, what is the point of making a smoothie bowl instead of just smoothie, right?

Nutrition facts: 200 calories 20 grams fat

Ingredients

  • 125 g (1/2 cup) of plant based yogurt  (I use soy yogurt from Alpro)
  • 1 cut and frozen nectarine
  • 1/2 of cut and frozen banana
  • 250g (1 cup) of cut and frozen honeydew melon
  • 3 g (½ tsp.) of blue spirulina powder
  • fresh /frozen fruit for decoration
  • granola (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients in a blender adding the spirulina powder at the end. You can add less or more of the. powder depending on the desired color.
  2. Pour the thick smoothie into a bowl and decoret with fresh fruit.
  3. If you feel like there is something crunchy missing, sprinkle the bowl with your favorite granola.
  4. Turn off your phone, sit in the sun and enjoy this summer in a bowl no matter what season it is 🙂
